Who this site is for
Before I tell you about myself, I’d like to start of by talking about who this site is written for.
This site is for the ones who want to wake up everyday with passion. The ones who want to live differently. The busy ones. The motivated ones. The ones with cheerios stuck in their hair. The ones with expensive taste, and the spit-up stains to match. The ones who want a family-friendly approach to enjoying life. The ones who strive to create a better world for their children. The ones who want to live passionately, but aren’t sure where to start… This site is exactly what you’ve been looking for.
I launched this site as a knowledge base for lavish gay dads, international supermoms, and parenting rockstars from all over the world to come together to relate and rejoice. It is quickly growing into a collective of powerful personal narratives, fresh ideas on enjoying family-life, and quality advice for both prospective parents, and those parents who are in need of a bit of inspiration.
If you love your children, have a thirst for adventure, or just want to peek inside the peculiar life of a stranger…. you’ll feel right at home here. You can expect a gift-wrapped shipment of wisdom and experience being plopped down on your desktop, fresh off the boat from Italy, every week.
I felt inspired to share my unique lifestyle after noticing that similar experiences were almost nonexistent on the internet. There have always been thousands of mom blogs out there, many that I love, but there are shockingly less blogs run by DADS… and next to none written by GAY dads. There was nowhere I could learn from… no one to relate to. My partner and I felt so alone, and unrepresented on our journey through parenthood. SO… here’s to hoping that my blog can change that, and offer you some solace, some laughs, and a bit of normalcy.
Hi! My name is Parker Anderson, and I am a stay-at-home dad by day, aspirational writer by night. I am OBSESSED with helping others improve their lives, and their families.
For years, I have been dividing my time between California, the Netherlands, and the north of Italy. It is through travel, that I have been able to discover my passion for life, and desire for adventure.
My life changed when I met the light of my life, my dear husband, Arno. He has taught me so much: about love, relationships, and personal development.
After meeting, we spent the majority of our time together, in Milano. Since then, we have slowly been trying to adapt to life as gay men, together in conservative Italy.
After two years of house hunting, we are fortunate enough to have finally settled down here: in this beautiful villa.
When my Partner and I decided to become fathers, through surrogacy, I decided to also become a stay-at-home dad. Spending so much time at home has not been easy, but it been the best gift I have ever received. Our son, the beautiful MILAN, is beyond description. He has changed my life for the better, and I want to share my joy with you.
Join me as I learn new things, and experience new highs and lows. Thanks for being here.
